The Syrian Istanbul FIKIR Association was established with the beginning of the Syrians' asylum in Turkey and the neighboring countries of Syria following the Syrian revolution that took place in 2011.

The aim of the establishment of the Syrian Istanbul FIKIR Association was the scientific and intellectual support for the children and youth of Syria from the class of students who lost the opportunity to complete their school or university studies, so it was the duty of the Syrian Istanbul Fikr Association to set up educational and social projects.

• Establishing three Arab schools for all stages.

• Contracts with Turkish universities to include the largest possible number of Syrian students in various stages and majors.

• Conducting conferences and debates between Syrian citizens and representatives of the governments hosting refugees.

• Cooperating with the Turkish government to obtain a temporary protection card to ensure asylum in Turkish territory.

• Establishing the Arab electronic library to ensure the Arab students are connected to their culture and history

• Establishing vocational rehabilitation programs for many unemployed cadres.

• Establishing many social programs and activities and giving way to youth volunteer work in many Turkish cities.

A civil service intellectual association, not concerned with any governmental or political entity.

To be a pioneer in changing the reality of the scientific community for the better by providing scholarships for students and educational services at all levels.

Nothing is worse than the fight against science, treacherous bullets kill individuals while betrayal of thought and the fight against science may kill entire nations, so building a civilized scientific person is our basic message.
